It all began with the initial synth arpeggio, but then I focused on the rhythmic of this song. I wanted it to be the leading element, through the drums, for the whole duration of the track. However, when I recorded the guitars and the vocals, I dramatically changed my mind. I felt
like I was riding a lightning-fast tiger in an electronic woods and – through the lyrics – I wanted to recreate this image. The slogan is “Ride the wave”.
Instead, the title ironically refers to the nihilist thought, according to which absolute truths do not exist. Nevertheless, I do not want to assert that life is meaningless, as nihilist philosophers would state. If anything, I think it is right when everything loses its sense that we can take the full advantage of some situations. Afterwards, we return to the normal lucidity, stronger than before.
