Feel was born in the countryside, in a period of openness from restrictions when I took refuge with a few friends in the house of my girlfriend's grandparents.
Feel is about distance and the feeling I felt following my father's death. Is about his support, which I was feeling in everyday life, and which now I feel distant, but still present. I feel tremendously distant from him, my grandmother and my grandfather who passed away this year. The distance is an ugly beast, it is tangible and creates a distressing void. But! All this has in no way led to the lack of feelings.
I feel them very distant and equally close at all times, in thoughts, choices and difficulties, as if they were by my side.
I don't want to sound crazy, but I researched and found the reflections of people more authoritative than me.
"Whoever wants it goes on forever"
A dear friend of mine quoted this phrase from Montale and I was struck because that's exactly what I feel.
The sense of filling and impregnating the people around you so much that when you are no longer there you become infinite.
Other people can still hear you in everything, because you have given a way to still find yourself everywhere.
So this is what is empowering me and pushing me to make music.
So I don't stop and go on, with them next to me. Far from them.
